Is your style contempory? Do you like clean lines? Counter depth? Not getting the same thing as everybody else? Yes? Then, Porter & Charles could just be your perfect brand match.

Who is Porter and Charles? That’s the first question out of everyone’s mouth when they see their products in our showrooms. Porter and Charles is a locally owned brand, owned by Euro-Line Appliances Inc based in Oakville and manufactured by AEG in Europe. That adds up to few benefits.

One – ranges are counter depth. Yes, that’s a thing. Modern and contemporary kitchen designs aren’t limited to separate wall-oven and cooktops anymore – you’ve got options. A counter depth range is designed with a framed door so that it can sit flush with the neighbouring cabinetry safely. Also the front “lip” of the control panel is the same thickness and shape as most countertops. So a Porter & Charles range may actually sit flush with your counter and cabinetry. North American brands do not do this.

Two – as an independent brand, Porter & Charles is not sold in big box stores in enormous volume. That means there is great potential to be different, to not have the same appliances as half the people you know. They are only sold through independent appliance stores like ours. Service and Parts are no concern either. Questions and service are answered right here locally. No huge call centers. Warehousing of appliances and parts is close by and not in another country or province.

Three – price. Porter & Charles comes in with a lower cost than brands they compete against. They are not built cheaper, they aren’t missing features. The distributor owns the brand, which saves them money bringing it to market here. it’s that simple, they saved money and they pass some of that along to the consumer pricing their appliances competitively.

They have a selection of cooking appliances – built-in and free-standing, plus ventilation, dishwashers and laundry products. Come and check them out.
