Product Review: Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher

It’s understandable to be a bit of a skeptic when someone tells you that their dishwasher is the best one out there. A lot of people feel passionate about the appliances they buy, proud that their research and hard work in picking out the best features, quality and affordability has paid off. If you’re about to make that decision yourself and are in the midst of researching new dishwashers – we recommend you take a look at this one.
The Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher is in a class on its own. We’re not telling you this because we’re biased or being told to, we’re telling you this because it's true. Imagine if a company sat down and listened to what every customer wanted from a dishwasher – flexibility, no sound, more room, dry dishes… this is what the Bosch 500 Series is.

The 500 series dishwasher includes the standard Bosch dishwasher features such as 161-degree water, no-heat condensation drying, multiple wash cycles and the ability to wash good china. These features alone are pretty impressive, but why stop there.

Here are some of the other awesome things the Bosch 500 Series does:

1. It’s basically noiseless. On the decibels scale 38 dBs is virtually a noiseless machine, this dishwasher is at 44 dBs. In fact it’s SO quiet that they’ve added an indicator light to tell you when its running, so you don’t accidentally open the door.
   
   
2. It’s full of flexibility. Dishwashers are not big appliances, but after a dinner party it’s so frustrating having to split your dishes between the sink and the dishwasher when really a dishwasher should be able take care of it all. The flexible 3^rd rack allows for silverware and you can fit in even longer items. You can flip the tines down to allow for stemware and adjust the height to accommodate taller pots and pans. Overall it allows for 30% more loading capacity.
   
   
3. Each rack is on an easy glide system, so opening and closing is no longer super annoying.
   
   
4. It features a 60-minute speed wash system so you can inconspicuously run a load during a dinner party and then run one again right after. The dishes also come out DRY so no need to get extra hands in the kitchen helping you to wipe them off before putting them away.
   
   
5. The dishwasher also accommodates detergent pods really nicely. It has a specifically designed cup that the pod sits in which dissolves it when the door closes, so you don’t have to worry about wasting cycle time waiting for the pod to dissolve.
   
   
6. The buttons are top mounted so they are hidden when the door closes, creating a beautiful seamless look, perfect for any kitchen.

Overall this dishwasher really is a dream. It accommodates for any home owners needs, whether you have a big family or like throwing dinner parties or just want a great quality dishwasher that is virtually silent. We feel that the Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher is well worth the investment.
