The weather is heating up and without the usual access to our fabulous restaurant and bar patios, we’re going to have to start shakin’ up some cocktails of our own. Watermelon Jalapeno Margarita
This is a delicious twist on your standard Marg from Jillian Harris. They are super cute and fun to serve and even more fun to drink. Jillian suggests playing around with the recipe, especially if you’re not a fan of spice. You can remove the jalapeños and these will be equally as delicious. Serve with a fresh slice of watermelon too to make it even more fun!
This cocktail from Food & Wine is so refreshing, we’re pretty sure it’ll be a regular on your cocktail list this summer. It’s a nice change from the standard summer cocktails and will definitely make you feel like you’re sitting right at the beach. For the full recipe click here. 
Sangria’s are a summer favourite around our house! They are great for parties but can be nice on a Saturday afternoon in the backyard with your family as well. We particularly love this one because the recipe doesn’t call for a whole lot of sugary additives and you can easily use what you already have at home too. Click for the full recipe. 
Everyone loves a refreshing iced tea, this one is just a bit more fun and unique. If you really want to go all out, maybe you’re celebrating an anniversary or birthday this summer, this one is a great one to try.
